Asked afterwards how he did it, Juma Miyaji said, "The idea was to bowl straight." His five wickets were all bowled. He bowled his full four overs and gave away seven runs, the best T20I figures of his career, in a tournament where he had earned his 50th cap in the opening game. Enock Kasaija took 4 for 4 in 2.2 overs from the other end, also a career best, and Alpesh Ramjani's one over brought the other wicket.
The chase barely counted as one. Robinson Obuya hit a four and two sixes in 16 off three balls, Raghav Dhawan hit a six in 7 off two, and the game was over inside the first over. Uganda's net run rate went to +6.559, which matters with Nigeria level on points.
Nobody in Mozambique's line-up got past 4. Joao Hou and Lourenco Salomone made 4 each, Jose Bulele 3 and Agostinho Navicha 2. Seven of them were bowled, which says Uganda's bowlers kept hitting the stumps and Mozambique's batters kept missing.
