Account Information

• Name, email address (required for account creation)
• Phone number, country (optional, provided during sign-up)
• Authentication provider data (Google/GitHub, if using OAuth)

Usage Data

• Match reports viewed and generated
• PDF exports downloaded
• Subscription tier and payment status
• Session activity (for idle timeout enforcement)

Newsletter Subscribers

• Email address (provided voluntarily through our newsletter sign-up form)

Analytics

• We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand site traffic and usage patterns
• This includes anonymized page views, device types, and geographic regions

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the CricIntel platform
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account
• To enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier
• To send you match previews, predictions, and feature updates (if subscribed to our newsletter)
• To process payments via Stripe or Razorpay
• To improve our prediction models and user experience

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL database with row-level security enabled). Payment information is processed by Stripe and Razorpay — we do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank details on our servers.

All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Database access is restricted through row-level security policies — users can only access their own data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — authentication and database (hosted in AWS)
• Vercel — hosting and deployment
• Stripe / Razorpay — payment processing
• Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics
• Google / GitHub — OAuth authentication (if you choose to sign in via these providers)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with the third-party services listed above for the sole purpose of operating the Platform.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

CricIntel uses:

• Authentication cookies — to maintain your logged-in session (set by Supabase)
• Local storage — to store session timestamps, newsletter dismissal preferences, and dev settings
• Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics for anonymized traffic analysis

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Unsubscribe — opt out of newsletter emails at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
